The conversation that comes before any application — what you actually want to do, and whether studying abroad is the right way to get there.
Most students arrive having already chosen a country, usually because of where a relative went. That is a reasonable starting point but a poor finishing one, because the destination that suited a cousin three years ago may not suit your subject, your grades or your budget today — and in Canada's case the rules themselves have changed since.
Counselling starts further back. What do you want to be doing in five years? Does that require a degree abroad at all, or would a qualification in Nepal plus experience get you there faster and cheaper? If it does require studying abroad, which subject, at what level, and what does that realistically demand of your academic record and your family's finances?
This is also where we tell you if the honest answer is not yet. A student with a 48% aggregate who wants direct entry to a competitive engineering degree is better served by hearing that in a free session than by an application fee, a test booking and a refusal.
